Organisational Structure
The organigram of the Association is composed of:
1. The General Assembly: It is the supreme organ of the Association. It is composed of all effective members. Today, the organisation is composed of 265 members, of whom 32% are females.
2. The Administration Council: It is the administrative organ of the organisation composed of Nine Office bearers.Under the Admnistration Council, there is an Executive Secretariate in charge of the day-to day implementation of the Association's activities.
3. The Control and Evaluation Commission: composed of five members, it is in charge of internal auditing of finances and activities of the Organisation. Besides, the 3 organs, the Association has a Board of Advisors. It is composed of nine persons and its role is that of giving strategic advise and orientation to the organisation.
4. The Board of Advisors: though provided for in the Constitution, has not been fully constituted. It is expected to give guidance to the Board and the CEC.
5. The Secretariat: is composed of the members of staff who carry out activities of the organisation. The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary (ES), who provides leadership in the overall activities' implementation, networks and fundraises for the organisation and reports to the Board. THe Head of Programmes (HoP) plans, manages, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the organisation's activities. The different activities of the organisation are headed by project officers.
